We Strive To Make A Positive & Meaningful Impact In Our Patients, Their People & Our World

How We Give Back
Despite being busy caring for patients the Encino Veterinary Center team makes time to be involved with local & global causes we care about.
There are opportunities for YOU to join us in making a difference, whether it’s in-person, through financial support or simply by recommending us to friends & family as we plant a tree (or sea tree) for every new patient! We've partnered with One Tree Planted & Sea Trees to help keep our patients and our planet healthy!
Volunteering- On select Sundays we help with Downtown Dog Rescue wellness clinics to deliver care to pet owners in need. Their pet companion might be the only reason they are able to cope with the tough times. We want to give them one less thing to worry about and help keep their pets happy & healthy so they can continue to provide the comfort & companionship their person needs.

Education- We're passionate about helping the next generation of veterinarians. We support various veterinary student scholarships to help offset the rising expenses of obtaining a veterinary education. We also provide veterinary student externships to compliment what students are learning at their veterinary school.

Restoration- Through our plant a tree for every new patient we see program we have helped restore local areas ravaged by recent wildfires as well as helped conserve the kelp forest off the cost of Rancho Palos Verdes.
Local Impact
Global Impact
We support causes that care for our environment, wildlife & provide public health services.
End Rabies - Luckily Rabies is not a major issue in the US due to extensive vaccination but it continues to cause deaths around the world. We team up with Merck Animal Health & AFYA to help donate vaccinations to areas in need.
Conservation- Our doctors and staff participate in trips around the world that help people, animals & our environment through Earthwatch volunteer trips. If you would like to sponsor a tax deductible volunteer experience please reach out.
